The Dentists

Paul F. Knight B.D.S. Dundee 1977

Paul began working in this practice in 1977, and has undertaken extensive training in all aspects of implant dentistry, bone augmentation and manipulation techniques, orthodontics and restorative dentistry.

Special interests include:

Dental Implantology, awarded a Fellowship of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (F.I.C.O.I.) in 1994, is an Astra Tech Clinical Coach and member of the Astra Tech UK Advisory Board with experience in placing and restoring Dental Implants since 1994.
Cosmetic Dentistry.
Full mouth rehabilitation.
Orthodontics.

Roger B. Shann B.D.S. Newcastle 1978.

Roger first worked at the practice from 1978-1980, rejoining the practice in 2001 after gaining a lot of experience in practices in Carlisle and Cockermouth. Interests include Root Canal Therapy and Cosmetics.

Dental Hygienist

Hilary Hadwin E.D.H.

Qualified as a Dental Hygienist in Newcastle 1984 having previously trained and qualified as a Dental Nurse in this practice. Hilary has experience specific to dental implants since 1994 having re-joined us in 1992.

The Receptionists

Tracy Hetherington

First joined the practice in 1990, has Dental Nursing experience and a vast knowledge of Reception duties.

Liz Stoddart

Liz joined the practice in 1988 with knowledge of Dental Nursing in addition to her more usual Reception duties.

Gill Wilson

Gill works both in Reception and as a Dental Nurse in the surgery and has been a member of the team since 1998.

The Nurses

Alison Hodgson

Alison first joined the practice in 1978 and apart from some time off to have her family, has been with us ever since. Alison is a very experienced Dental and Implant Nurse and also coaches in Implant Nursing.

Liz Greer

Liz joined the practice in 1983, and after qualifying, moved to pastures new, returning in 1995. Liz also has vast experience in Dental and Implant nursing and coaches in Implant Nursing.

Marie Johnston

Marie joined the practice in 2001 and is a qualified Dental Nurse, training in Implant Nursing.
